TUIC Final Challenge

Thankful . . . for Prime Rib!

Jen is hosting our Blog Group (Tangled Up In Creativity)'s last challenge for 2010.  Check out her creativity, here.  She truly decided to go out with a BANG with this one.
Here's her challenge:

1. Your card has to have a turkey somewhere on the card.

2. Your card has to have either sewing or faux sewing somewhere on the card.

3. Your card has to have ribbon somewhere on the card.

And this is my creation.  I made the turkey's feathers with scrap fall ribbon I had.  I stitched "Thankful" with embroidery floss.  I had fun with this.  Thanks for looking!

Inktegrity Hump Day Inspiration Challenge #21

This week's Inktegrity challenge is to use this sketch to create a card:
I have the hardest time with sketch challenges.  My cards usually just look like the sketch.  Come join us at Inktegrity (here), you'll have lots of fun.  If you have a minute, check out the challenge blog to see the FABULOUS entries from last week.  I was blown away!

For this week's card, I used Candy the Squirrel she's so stinkin' cute as are the other characters at Inktegrity.  I used Copic markers to color Candy and Sharpie and Bic permanent markers for the acorns and pail.  The sentiment is from an Inkadinkado Fall set.  Thanks for looking!!
