TUIC Challenge

This is my card for Tangled Up in Creativity's challenge this week.  Our hostess for the challenge is the very talented, Danie.  Check out her blog (D-Dazzled Designs); this week she is focusing on a fundraiser for Prostate Cancer Research.

Our challenge - use "Pacific Point" blue (or close to, which is what I did) by SU, make a masculine card, and also use ribbon on the card.  It is very difficult for me to use ribbon on a masculine card.  But I did it!

Stamps:  Simply Home by {ippity}
Paper:  DCWV
Ink:  Burnt Umber Hybrid (for the tree), Memento Tuxedo Black for the House, Stazon Black for the sentiment
Misc: Ribbon from Walmart, leaf shape made from Fimo clay

Thanks for looking!

  2. I think you did great!!! It's always hard for me to use ribbon on a masculine card too - in fact, I usually just use twine or something...but you did fabulous with this. Such a cute, cute, card.

  5. Wow what a fabulous card for our challenge, I love the way you are looking out the window and the touch of colour and the use of a number of different elements like the fimo clay. Thanks so much for playing.
